What is one of these worth now?
Rough estimate here if you have the same clock it depends on the condition but maybe around 800 - 1000 now though the clock brand new or restored would probably be around 3000

@@carwashslayer4235yes it has a hermle movement hermle/other clock companies used the hermle 1051-051 which the chime and strike trains have their own hammers allowing for more resonance

I find it odd that the clock is chain-driven, yet has winding arbors
@@toothlesstoe many Ladder chain clocks were like this. It’s because it is a traditional style American clock movement made to run o weights (like something you would find in a antique kitchen clock that has springs) They left the ability to wind it from the dial, because the pendulum hangs in front of the weights instead of behind them. This makes winding it using the chain cumbersome, though it can be done.
Sounds kinda like Howard miller clock or ridgeway or something but I’m thinking it’s a kieninger movement

@@RalphCollectsClocks It's actually just a regular chime rod, or it could be two, since the timbre doesn't sound like a typical chime rod (it is a very long chime rod so that's probably why). I just noticed after re-watching.

Decor Clocks also made gazo style wall clocks with these movements. My grandma has a decor clocks interpretation of a gazo coronado.
